A blog about fitness after 40
About the Journey
The road to fitness began when I accepted the Spartan Challenge. What started as a joke between friends became a journey of self-discovery. Since then, I’ve joined a number of obstacle course races (OCR) and I’ve never looked back.
Along the way, I’ve developed a healthier relationship with my body – one founded on appreciation and acceptance. I appreciate all the things my body does for me and I accept the way I look – Shar Pei dog skin, cellulite and all. I feed my body and mind, for health and for enjoyment. I no longer adopt temporary, unrealistic changes. What I do now, I do for life.
